Service Bodies vs. Toolboxes: Which is Right for Your Business?

Whether you’re a tradie wanting to store your gear, or a large company looking for fleet options, having the right accessories to maximise functionality is key. Good news is, you’ve come to the right place. In this blog we’ll break down the pros for both service bodies and toolboxes so you can be sure you’re making the right decision.

What is a service body?

Service bodies are designed for those wanting the ability to lock up and store their gear. They’re perfect for any trades looking to keep things clean and dry against the elements as well as securing valued tools and equipment.

Our service bodies are built Rockbox tough to ensure they can handle heavy day to day use with central locking and door ajar alarms to keep your equipment safe and secure – or for those prone to driving off with their door open!

We have a wide range to suit your needs and can colour match bodies to any cab in our paint booth at our Bibra Lake warehouse. There’s also the added benefit that the body itself is great advertising real estate so you can essentially consider it a moving billboard for your business.

Benefits of a toolbox:

If you’re looking for a more cost effective option, opting for toolboxes instead of a full service body is a great alternative. With so many size options, it means you can have one or several toolboxes in a configuration that works for your specific jobs.

Having toolboxes fitted to your tray still has the benefit of security and protection as well as making for a more organised space.

We have a large range of off-the-shelf toolboxes like our mineboxes or full opens in a range of sizes to suit any tray. Check out the Rockbox range here.
